We started in April of 2024 when Josh Jewell was approached by the membership of VFW Post 1114 to put on a family-friendly wrestling show and was given the opportunity.
Within just a couple shirt months, things were put into motion. The ring was bought, the entranceway was created, and the wrestlers were booked. DJ Popdad jumped on board to create the atmosphere with lights and sound.
We quickly gained traction in the Evansville area, running monthly shows. At the time, there were three other promotions operating in Evansville, Indiana. We began with a core locker room that included Tennessee Fight Club, Black Diamond Entertainment, Ace King, Chris Thomas, Pothead John, The Baker, IMD, Cayden Oliver, and many others.
Fans and wrestlers alike were skeptical that we were a "fly-by-night Operation" and wouldn't survive the first few shows. Man, did we prove them wrong. Through many trials and tribulations, we have grown into the company you see before you today.
We will continue to grow and bring the Evansville area a strong, family-friendly wrestling show.
Total Chaos Wrestling was created out of necessity and built to survive.
